The BS key

The BS (Backspace) Key is used to delete entries. Exactly how it behaves depends on what you are editing and the state of the Ov - Ins key. This is the Overwrite or Insert mode key.

When in Overwrite mode, pressing the BS key will cause the cursor to move to the left and overwrite the number at that position with a 0.

When in Insert mode, pressing the BS key will delete the character at the current cursor position and cause all the characters to the left to move one position to the right.

Note that the BS key does not work when displaying a timecode value as seconds. (See next section).
